PSDP Trip to Flood Stricken Areas of Southern Punjab and Balochistan.

The People’s Sustainable Development Projects (PSDP) in tune with its vision and objectives to alleviate poverty, hunger and to promote sustainable development recently undertook an important and timely trip to DG Khan and the flood stricken areas of Southern Punjab and Baluchistan. The recent heavy downpour in the area had left more than 150 families homeless and without any access to clean water.
PSDP’s President Dr Nasreen Hamza, along with the Coordinator Mr Hamid Hamza visited at all these areas and by hand delivered more than 600 bags of urgently needed goods to the people of this region. These goods included bags of Sugar, Pulses, Dates, Oil and rice. Besides this there was special financial assistance to the effected families.
The President along with other members of PSDP also addressed the local people and identified the key areas that were the main focus of PSDP in the region and as a whole.



PSDP is continuously aiming to provide better and more sustainable developmental works and in accordance to this mission statement, PSDP inaugurated the first ever Skill Developmental Centre at Shilanae on the 6th of September. The foundation stone for this skill development centre was laid down by Mr Mir Badshah Khan Qaiserani.
